Ajlay has had major rotation in the first half decade of his professional dj career yet his creations span further back than even he gives himself credit for. Before the uprights and truss towers, he was embracing the side of music that only the real creators relate to. His fruits are forever because music does not change once harnessed. Too many casuals only know Ajlay as a public dj but this summer shines light on the real producer at hand. Crazy Summer is a culmination of his inner most being. This three track extended play is merely a wave in the rising swell that is Andrew Layton. He is a producer first and Crazy Summer is a concrete showcase of his investment to the sound.

The self titled track “Crazy Summer” shoots you right into this crazy summer. What may seem like an organized and well structured speed house song is exactly that. With his own insanity layered into the mix, ajlay is here to share his chaos with you. Tripmastaz was there in the mist outputting the master that  during a crazy summer of the past, is finally here to bring you to.

“Mean Green” is all about our waking moments on this earth. Featuring his vocals with a clever (perro) tail, Ajlay shares not only his brainpower on the beat but also his throat chakra. As the beat progresses, you might realize that sometimes we need time to get to the good parts in life. Be Patient.

The final of this ep titled “LiAMi Acid” is a downtempo house melter inspired by love for tornadic thunderstorms. The gripping bassline is a nod to his vision of the tornado in the movie “wizard of oz”. Aged likes of the track from the Tava Studio backup the embedded deep need for reflection, something that he found while in Miami for the first time.  With a master from one of his greatest inspirations “Tripmastaz”, LiAmi AciD is the send off into your own crazy summer.
